For Factories

Thousands of tons are moving through Sketchframer.
Is your factory visible?

Every week, designers on the platform complete projects and start looking for factories to fabricate them. They search within the network. They compare. They choose.

If your factory isn't registered, you don't appear in those searches. The project goes to someone else. Not because your production is worse — but because you simply weren't there.

Sketchframer is becoming the place where fabrication decisions are made in the Steel Framing industry. The question is whether your factory is part of that conversation.

01 — Visibility

You become visible to every designer on the network.

When you register as a factory, your facility appears in the platform's production network. Designers looking for manufacturing partners can find you, evaluate your location, and send projects directly — without cold calls or intermediaries.

02 — Production

Projects arrive complete, ready to fabricate.

Every project sent through the network already includes the NC file, cutlist, and full production data. No back-and-forth on formats. No rework. You receive a complete fabrication package and can start production immediately.

03 — Growth

Your factory grows beyond your existing clients.

Your current clients are one channel. The Sketchframer network is another. Factories already on the platform are receiving projects from designers they had never worked with before — new clients, new volume, without a sales team.

Don't let another factory
take your projects.

Registration is free. Your factory joins the network at no cost and starts appearing in designer searches immediately. You only pay the platform rate when you fabricate a project received through Sketchframer.

You produce.
Then you pay.

No license. No monthly fee. No cost until a real project goes into fabrication. Sketchframer's pricing follows your production — not the other way around.

01 — Designer / Technician

Designer

$0.04/ kg of steel

For technicians downloading NC files for their own projects. Model, design, and generate cutlists for free — always. Pay only when you export an NC file for fabrication.

02 — Factory

Factory

$0.01/ kg of steel

For factories fabricating from their own projects. The lowest rate on the platform. Receive and fabricate projects from the Sketchframer network at $0.025/kg.

A real example. A typical project with 2 tons of steel (2,000 kg) costs $80 for a designer or $20 for a factory to export the NC file. No subscription, no seat license, no hidden fees. If you don't fabricate in a given month, you pay nothing.

FAQ´s

  • You only pay when you download the NC file for fabrication.
Once you finish your project and want to generate the NC file, the system will show the corresponding cost. After completing the payment, the download will be enabled.

Everything else remains free: you can model, generate drawings, and download cutlists at no cost.

  • No. Sketchframer does not have monthly licenses or fixed costs.

The model is designed to follow your real production level. You only pay when you generate an NC file for fabrication. If you don’t produce anything in a given month, you simply don’t pay anything.

  • In most cases, yes.

Traditional software in this industry is usually sold through monthly licenses per user, which means paying a fixed cost every month regardless of how much you produce.

Sketchframer works differently. Since there are no licenses or fixed fees, you only pay when you actually fabricate. This means your costs are directly aligned with your production.

  • We know that projects often require adjustments, and we have taken this into account.

When you purchase an NC file, it includes the possibility of making small modifications without having to pay again. This allows you to correct details or handle changes that commonly arise during the design or review process.

To keep this benefit fair for everyone, the modifications cannot represent more than 10% of the total steel weight of the original project.

  • No. When you fabricate your own project, the NC file cost is $0.01 per kilogram of steel.

However, if the project comes to your factory through the Sketchframer network, the cost is $0.025 per kilogram. This includes the base NC file cost plus a small commission for the project generated through the platform.

This model allows Sketchframer to function not only as a production tool, but also as a channel for receiving new projects.

  • Yes, absolutely.

If you are a designer working with a factory that does not use Sketchframer, you can still use the platform to model and generate the necessary files. You can also find factories through the platform’s network.

Additionally, remember that modeling, generating drawings, and downloading cutlists are completely free, so you can use Sketchframer to design your projects without needing to fabricate directly.
