SketchFramer 1.7 brings a new set of improvements focused on visualization, modeling accuracy, structural workflows, and project documentation. This release introduces a new plate visualizer and transparency controls in Paper View, along with an eraser tool to make drawing and documentation workflows more flexible.
It also includes important improvements to structural modeling, including better handling of rotated profiles and beams, slab and wall connections, truss positioning and refresh, and more reliable profile and blocking behavior. In addition, BOM materials are now preserved across elements and scene redraws, while Structural Analysis has been renamed to Structural Lines to better reflect its purpose.
This release brings a smoother and more reliable workflow across modeling, structural design, and documentation, with improvements that make SketchFramer more robust and efficient for real-world steel framing projects.
