Hm... I installed that version and it is working fine.
Could you check: 1. Ruby Console, if you have any errors? (Window/Ruby Console)
2. Javascript Error, on the properties click right mouse / Inspect Element / Console and copy what you have there?
Did you try to change the subdivision count or security range? Maybe @Vladimir Lignelli will have any idea here
